We provide direct, no-strings-attached financial gifts to individuals and families battling cancer right here in Lenawee County, Michigan. No mountain of paperwork, no restrictions—just a community showing up for its own when it matters most.

Our Story
When Dave Bauman was diagnosed with Stage 4 Pancreatic cancer, he and his family began the long process of dealing with this disease: what treatment options are available, second opinions, plans of attack. As anyone who has faced cancer head on knows, it’s tiring, disheartening, and constant.
Adding to that stress, the finances of cancer treatment never favor the ones battling it. Lost work, travel costs, home medical equipment, comfort gear. The costs increase while the capacity to make money decreases.
One bright spot in Dave’s journey has been the outpouring of support from friends and family. The emotional support has kept him going and the financial support has allowed him to pursue life-saving treatments.
Dave wanted to help others going through the same, and he wanted to keep it local to his home. He enlisted his wife and two sons and set about creating the Dave Bauman Cancer Relief Fund.
